Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen
Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen are the first re-makes of any main series Pokemon They are re-makes of the Generation 1 games, Pokemon Red & Blue. They follow the same storyline, have the same Pokedex andhave the same evil team, professor, gym leaders & elite four. However, move pools, abilities, and natures are different, and carry on from Ruby & Sapphire.

Gameplay:
FireRed & LeafGreen follows the same plot at the original Pokemon Red & Blue. You begin in Pallet Town and Professor Oak lets you choose one of three Pokémon - Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. The usual eight gyms and Elite Four follow, all the while tackling Team Rocket.
All changes to Pokémon and mechanics persist from Ruby/Sapphire, including the EV system, abilities, natures, genders and so on. Evolutionary lines are also retained, so for example Golbat will evolve into Crobat with high friendship. Evon though many Pokemon aren't in the Kanto Pokedex, you can still recieve them via link trade with Ruby & Sapphire, or evolve them or breed them (e.g. Crobat, Pichu etc.)
A new set of locations are introduced, called Sevii Islands, only accessible after defeating the Elite Four and Champion. Many Pokémon from the second generation can be caught here, and a post-game plot involving Team Rocket occurs.

In FireRed & LeafGreen their are some Pokemon only available in one game. Either FireRed or LeafGreen. They are the same as Red & Blue, so click here to go there.
